LILA’s Camp Program Catalog for the 2024-25 school year.
Welcome to LILA’s Camp Program Catalog! LILA offers students in preschool through 12th grade the opportunity to stay engaged and continue learning during scheduled school breaks through various program offerings. From circus camp to surfing, skiing to cooking, and wilderness to summer camp options, each program features unique topics, specialized instructors, a chance to make new friends, and much more. Monday, October 14—Friday, October 18, 2024
Students in grades 1–5 and 6–12 are encouraged to join our exclusive Basketball Camp offered during the October Break at the Los Feliz and Burbank Campuses. Developed in partnership with the Corneille Sport Academy, LILA is excited to continue to offer a week of purposeful activities, structured similarly to a regular school day. This camp is only available for LILA students.
Register via Active NetworkK-5th students can dive into a week of thrilling circus-themed adventures! From soaring through the air on silks and mastering the art of acrobatics to perfecting their juggling skills and discovering a world of circus magic, this camp promises an unforgettable experience filled with excitement and creativity. This camp is taught by world-class circus performers and teaching artists and supervised by our familiar LILA Staff. Students will step into the spotlight and shine under our open-air 60′ X 90′ big top circus tent.
Register via Active NetworkCircus Camp Daycare is offered to preschool and pre-kindergarten students during the October Break. Please note, this is a “Daycare Only” program and not a “Camp” or “Study Hall.” Students will enjoy supervised free play, activities, and lunch and snack breaks. While the structure of this program is less intensive than a traditional themed camp, it still includes engaging activities with teaching artists, arts and crafts, organized sports, and more!
Register via Active NetworkIn collaboration with California’s premier surf school, Surf Academy, LILA offers students in grades 6–8 an unforgettable beach experience with Surf Camp! Whether you’re a first-time surfer in a supportive environment, a seasoned pro, or simply looking to relax on the sand, this week will be a blast. Each day includes roundtrip van transportation to Santa Monica Beach, 2.5 hours of instruction with a 5:1 teacher-to-student ratio, and supervision by our CPR and First Aid certified LILA staff. Along with surf class, campers will have the chance to participate in various beach games like frisbee and volleyball, or just unwind and enjoy the beach. The week will wrap up with a special trip to the Long Beach Aquarium, where students will explore marine life and other fascinating wildlife!

LILA offers middle school and high school students five days of fun and skiing and snowboarding. During the day the students will be taking private group lessons at Big Bear Mountain Resort and will be able to have free time to ski and/or snowboard on their own. Each night the students will participate in fun activities and entertainment, such as bowling, movie night, and other fun surprises.

Led by the talented Chef Nina of Radical Cooks, this hands-on camp will teach kids how to create healthy, flavorful meals using fresh, local ingredients. Your child will master fun cooking techniques, discover the magic of sustainability, and develop a love for wholesome food, all while building teamwork and creativity. This is more than just cooking—it’s an unforgettable experience that will inspire them for years to come.
Register via Active NetworkOur February Dino Camp for preschool and pre-kindergarten offers a fun, dynamic experience that combines dance, acro, STEAM activities, art, and adventure for young learners. Campers will immerse themselves in the prehistoric world, dancing like dinosaurs, creating dino-themed art projects, and exploring science experiments and engineering challenges. With activities like a dino scavenger hunt, hip-hop routines, and interactive reptile encounters, children will develop creativity, coordination, and problem-solving skills all while having a blast! This camp provides the perfect balance of movement, learning, and exploration. Through hands-on activities like making fossils, crafting dino feet, and participating in acro games, preschoolers will engage in imaginative play, building teamwork and motor skills, self-expression, emotional awareness, and physical confidence.

If you’re excited by the thought of being an Aerospace engineer at NASA or designing the next robotic creation, join us for a thrilling week leading your own AI robot around obstacles, robot battles or down the racetrack. mBot is a STEAM education robot and their mBot NEO is the top-of-the-line robot used for this camp. Campers will have the option to take their robot home with them at the end of the week.

Get your camper ready for an unforgettable outdoor adventure with Wilderness Quest: The Ultimate Survival Camp! April Break will run from Monday, April 21–Friday, April 25, 2025. We are challenging young explorers to unplug from screens and dive into hands-on survival skills like orienteering, shelter building, and wildlife tracking. From learning how to make fire and purify water to discovering edible wild foods, your child will develop confidence, teamwork, and a deep connection to nature.

They will have a blast exploring, building, and playing while developing important skills like teamwork and creativity. Camp will run from Monday, April 21–Friday, April 25, 2025.

This exciting camp (offered at Pasadena & West Valley), is designed for children in preschool and pre-kindergarten & grades K–5. It offers the perfect blend of physical activity and artistic expression. Your child will explore martial arts techniques, from foundational skills to exciting new moves, all while learning valuable teamwork and focus. We are partnering with some of the best Martial Arts vendors to ensure a truly hands-on experience. But that’s not all! Our camp also invites campers to unleash their creativity through a variety of fun and engaging arts and crafts activities. Whether they’re painting, sculpting, or working on themed art projects, there will be plenty of opportunities for self-expression and imaginative play.

Get ready for an unforgettable Summer adventure at Ecole du Soleil Summer Camp! LILA’s premier Summer Camp runs from Monday, June 23–Friday, July 25, 2025. This five-week camp will take place at the Los Feliz Campus. La Petite Ecole du Soleil will be open to children entering preschool and pre-kindergarten in the Fall while La Grande Ecole du Soleil will welcome K-5th graders. What awaits your child is a daily schedule filled with French classes that are taught by highly experienced teachers (designed for all levels), amazing counseling staff that will create a safe environment for your camper, and an overall fun and educating Summer Camp in a French cultural environment.
